The North Penn School District Educational Foundation has been awarded the MontcoStrong 2021 Non-Profit Resiliency Grant. The grant provides non-profit organizations relief funding for disruptions caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic and will be used to offset operational costs.

The North Penn School District Educational Foundation, a 501c (3) corporation, has been awarded $25,000 by MontcoStrong 2021 to continue their mission of enriching the lives and education of the students of the North Penn School District. The Foundation works to provide students and faculty with equipment, field trips, programs, as well as supporting students in financial need. Funds will be used to support the ongoing operations of the Foundation and continue providing an exceptional educational experience to each child in the North Penn School District.

“The North Penn School District Educational Foundation is excited to have received this grant from MontcoStrong 2021 so we may continue our mission of helping every student succeed. We look forward to the future at the Foundation and are very grateful to the Commerce Department and the Redevelopment Authority of Montgomery County for selecting our organization to receive this grant funding.” said Christine Liberaski, Executive Director of the NPSD Educational Foundation.

The Montgomery County Board of Commissioners established the MontcoStrong 2021 program to support local non-profit organizations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and ensure they may continue improving the wellbeing and livelihood of the Montgomery County residents, businesses, and communities. Grants are awarded by the Redevelopment Authority of Montgomery County to organizations within and serving Montgomery County and its residents. Funds must be used to maintain business operations and provide PPE to protect against COVID-19.
