North Penn School District Students Participating in District and Regional Choirs
Sixteen North Penn School District students participated in the 2022 PMEA District 11 Choir, an honors ensemble for students from Montgomery and Bucks counties. The concert was held February 11, 2022 at Souderton High School.
Additionally, seven students successfully auditioned for the Region VI chorus. Region VI invites students from Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Philadelphia, and Delaware counties to audition. The concert will be held March 24, 2022 at North Penn High School.
To audition for both District and Regional orchestras, students must submit an audition tape singing a pre-selected piece and performing scales. Judges then selected students to participate in the honor choirs.
“We are extremely proud to once again have a high number of students participating in the District and Regional Choirs,” said Matt Klenk, Director of Choral Activities in the North Penn School District. “This is the culmination of hard work and preparation by the students to audition for these ensembles and perform at their best..”
