The North Penn School District Office of School and Community Engagement has received several awards from the Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association (PenSPRA) as part of its annual Excellence in Communications Contest.

North Penn has received three awards total, including one Award of Merit and two Awards of Honor. PenSPRA runs an annual contest to highlight professionals in school communications who publish exceptional work throughout the school year. This year the categories included Graphic Design, Photography, Publications, Website & Apps, Writing, COVID-19 and/or Crisis Management, Special Purpose Project, Videos, and Social Media. Judging was conducted by a panel of independent professionals, who provide all contestants with feedback after the contest concludes.

Erika Shaedle, NPSD Advertising and Marketing Specialist, received North Penn’s three awards. Her publications, NPSD 2020-2021 Annual Report and NPSD Educational Foundation Annual Report, received the Awards of Honor, while her publication, NPSD Activities Calendar, received the Award of Merit.

“We always push for clear and constant communication with the community to keep everyone informed,” said Christine Liberaski, Director of School and Community Engagement. “We are very pleased to be recognized for this and very proud of the accomplishments of this district being recognized on a state level.”
